Jimmy Lebenthal is Cerity Partners’ Chief Equity Strategist and a Partner in the firm’s New York office. With more than twenty-five years of experience managing investment portfolios, Jimmy is known for combining disciplined analysis with a calm, practical approach to long-term investing. He is also a regular contributor on CNBC, where he shares market insights and engages in spirited debate on the trends shaping the economy and investing landscape.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Jimmy served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Lebenthal Asset Management, LLC, where he developed and advised client relationships. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Financial Advisor at Goldman Sachs and was a Partner at Levy Harkins.

Before Wall Street, Jimmy served as a Lieutenant and submarine officer in the United States Navy, where he was awarded two Navy Commendation Medals and four Navy Achievement Medals.

Jimmy earned a BA in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
